Calm Clinic

“Patient abandonment when I needed my medication immediately. I sent in my request for a renewal of a prescription that I've been taking since 2019 via Walmart 3 times over 6 weeks. Each time Calm Clinic declined it. I had emailed my provider repeatedly, to no response. When I had only 1 pill left, I called and texted Calm Clinic. Eventually, via text, they told me I needed to pa to be seen by a new provider to renew the prescription. I asked how much will that be, and why. No response. I called, and was told that I would need to pay $150 for this new provider appointment. This $150 would be for an extremely short telehealth appointment to just tell this new provider this prescription for something as simple as Bupropion had been working for me for 7 years.... I asked for a manager to call me, was told she was in a meeting, and was never ever called. They never responded to my questions in text, they never booked the appointment, they never returned my call, and they refused to refill a prescription. This is blatant medical negligence and patient abandonment. Under Nevada law a medical clinic or group practice can be held liable for professional negligence. Their administrative failure to manage the transition of my pharmacy requests, as well as outright refusal to call me back wasted my time and they tried to extort a massive amount of money out of me. The biggest irony is they tried to tell me they told me in March 2025 that my provider left the clinic, yet it wasnt until july 2026 that they stopped renewing my requests for a new prescription. After reviewing my records, I do not see any correspondence over the last 15 to 16 months to validate their claim. I will be filing a grievance with the Nevada State Board of Nursing for patient abandonment. I found a route online, btw, and paid $30 for a practitioner to renew my prescription for 3 months. What a joke Calm Clinic is, as they couldn't even book me or call me back, even knowing I had completely ran out of my prescription. I have been a patient of theirs since 2019(!)”

“I absolutely love my provider, Lisa. She is wonderful to work with, and I really feel she cares for me. I am just a bit frustrated that there is an ongoing issue with getting my medications filled and their system not working properly. The pharmacy has made requests for a response from Calm Clinic on the issue without answer.”

“The doctor is a little bit disorganized. After several treatments and meeting with him it was apparent that he was basically just pencil whipping things and not really too interested in your overall State of Mind. He actually got a little bit rude with me on one of the phone calls and was late a few times sending in refills which caused me to be delayed in some of my therapy. I definitely would still clear from this company as they're not as organized as some of the other ones that I've seen out there. I did not have a very good experience and I definitely don't recommend anybody to use this company. There are better ones out there that are more structured and care about the actual patients”

“Provider No-Show / Highly Unprofessional I had a 12:00 PM video appointment today and the provider was a complete no-show. I waited in the virtual lobby for over 15 minutes with zero communication or updates. This is incredibly unprofessional, especially for a psychiatric clinic where patients are often in urgent need of support. It feels like a complete scam to waste a patient’s time and energy this way. I will not be attempting to reschedule and highly recommend looking elsewhere for reliable care. Thank you for the reply. While I appreciate the acknowledgement of the issue, 'operational changes' do not excuse a provider failing to show up for a scheduled appointment without any notification. As a patient, my trust was broken by this lack of communication. I have no interest in rescheduling or engaging further; I am simply leaving this review so other patients are aware of the potential for unreliability at this clinic.”
